Stainless Steel Straws is an Australian family business based in Newcastle New South Wales.
We’re passionate about our local beaches and coastal rainforest and as a family we get involved as much as possible in beach clean ups and bush regeneration.

Stainless Steel Straws is owned and operated by my wife and I and we get plenty of enthusiastic help from our three daughters. We are an active family and participate in lots of outdoor activities like Parkrun and Nippers and spend our summers on the beach. Over the cooler months we practice yoga and get into our music, dance and drama.
We are conscious of a growing awareness around our living environment and our natural surroundings, which led us to question our consumer lifestyle. We wondered if we were a part of the problem – or if we were part of the solution.
We came to Stainless Steel Straws after seeing how much plastic waste there was on beaches when we were away on a holiday. Living by our local beach, we are blessed with some of the cleanest and most conscientious and diligent locals who keep our local beaches absolutely pristine for the most part. Once we left our piece of paradise, we realised that plastic pollution is a real problem, and we wanted to do something about it.
We offer the full range of reusable metal straws, including black, rainbow, rose gold, original silver, and of course gold. We have on offer a retail selection based on sizes – so you can buy 4 packs, 8 packs and 12 packs along with cleaning brushes, carry pouches and combos.
We have been in online business since 2007, so we have plenty of experience and have been a part of the online evolution of retail since the early days.
